KYD gathers what the public record holds about them: the companies behind the name, the projects they registered and how each one stands, how far their promised dates moved, the MahaRERA lists they appear on, the complaints buyers filed, and the societies whose buildings they redeveloped.

The MahaRERA project registry
Every project the developer registered in Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban: its status, the completion date it promised and every revision, and whether an occupancy certificate document is on the record.
MahaRERA’s published lists
Lapsed completion dates, missed quarterly progress reports, insolvency (NCLT), suspension, abeyance, de-registration and changes of promoter, matched to projects by registration number.
MahaRERA complaints and orders
Complaints filed against the developer’s projects, by year and by where they stand. Counted, never named: no complainant appears anywhere in KYD.
Landowner declarations and the co-operative register
Projects built on land a co-operative housing society owns, matched where we can to the national register of co-operatives, so you can find a society that has been through it.
How to read a report.
A pattern, not a score.
KYD never grades a developer or calls one risky or safe. It shows what the records hold, the same way for every developer, and leaves the reading to the people whose building it is.
A blank is not a clean record.
When KYD finds nothing, it says “none found in the records we hold, as of” a date, and says which records it holds. A complaint filed somewhere we have not read is still a complaint.
A revised date is a promise that moved.
MahaRERA records the completion date a developer promised and each revision. It does not record the day a building was finished. KYD shows how far the promise moved, and calls it that.
Linking companies is an inference, and it says so.
Developers often use a separate company for each project. Every company KYD links to a name carries how it was linked and how sure we are, and links a person has not checked are marked as such.
Questions.
Does KYD say whether a developer is good or bad?
No. There is no rating, grade or verdict anywhere in it. It sets out what the public record holds, with each figure linked to its source, and the judgement is yours.
Why are complainants not shown?
Most complainants are homebuyers, private people. KYD counts complaints and shows where each one stands, but never names who filed it, anywhere in the tool.
Which areas does it cover?
Projects registered with MahaRERA in Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban. Thane, Palghar and Raigad are not yet included. Every report states its coverage at the top.
Can we take a report to our committee meeting?
Yes. Every report has a print version: dated, with its sources listed, and with a space to note who it was prepared for.
What if a record is wrong?
KYD reproduces MahaRERA’s records as published when we read them, and links to each one. MahaRERA is the authority that corrects its records; KYD shows the correction when it next reads them.
Do I need an account?
Yes. KYD sits behind sign-in for the whole beta, and first-time access needs an invite. A society committee can ask for access for its members.
